TRANSLATION WORK
Among my services, translation is the most popular. My methodology encompasses the translation of technical documentation (manuals, specifications), legal texts (contracts, deeds), commercial materials (marketing, advertising) and creative content (literary texts, web content). I implement CAT tools (Translation Memory Software) and terminological databases to ensure consistency and technical precision in each project, ensuring semantic and pragmatic equivalence between working languages.
SUBTITLING
I offer specialized subtitling services that cover the complete technical process: spotting (identification and marking of time codes), segmentation according to standard parameters (maximum 2 lines, 35-37 characters per line), lip synchronization, and compliance with specific orthotypographic subtitling conventions. The process includes:
• Transcription and translation of the original script
• Adaptation considering spatiotemporal restrictions (CPS – characters per second)
• Precise synchronization using professional software (Aegisub, Subtitle Workshop)
• Quality control to verify timing, format and linguistic coherence
• Export in multiple formats (.srt, .ass, .vtt) according to client requirements
PROGRAMMING
I develop technical solutions specialized in software and website localization, using HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript. My expertise includes DOM manipulation, resource file management (strings.xml, .resx), i18n/l10n frameworks implementation, and version control systems management (Git). I work with JSON/YAML structures for translation files, implement RTL/LTR compatibility, and ensure correct Unicode character rendering. Additionally, I optimize internationalization through the implementation of custom CSS variables and media queries for region-specific adaptations.

WORK METHODOLOGY
1 – INITIAL CONSULTATION
We schedule a detailed meeting or call to fully understand your project needs. During this conversation, we analyze key aspects such as content type, languages involved, target audience and any specific requirements. We also discuss deadlines, delivery formats and relevant technical aspects. This step is fundamental to ensure clear mutual understanding and establish the foundations for successful collaboration.
2 – MATERIALS ANALYSIS
Once the initial parameters are established, you will proceed to share the project files. At this stage, I conduct a comprehensive analysis of the content, evaluating aspects such as technical complexity, necessary terminological research and specific resources required. This detailed analysis allows me to identify potential challenges, plan appropriate translation strategies and ensure an optimal approach for your project.
3 – PROPOSAL AND PLANNING
Based on the previous analysis, I present you with a detailed quote that includes a complete work plan. This document specifies the included services, proposed timeline, deliverables and economic conditions. To initiate the project, an initial payment of 50% of the total quoted amount is required. This phase establishes a clear framework for work and ensures mutual commitment to the project.
4 – DEVELOPMENT, CONTROL AND PAYMENT
During this phase, I execute the project strictly following the agreed deadlines. The process includes initial translation, comprehensive revision, quality control and cultural adaptation when necessary, with constant communication to resolve any doubts or questions that may arise. Once your satisfaction with the result is confirmed, we proceed with the payment of the remaining 50%.
